Homemade toys... hmmm.... Well, since I'm poor, homemade toys are always lovely. Wooden spoons make good paddles and sting quite a bit if used properly. Tiger Balm burns like hell if dabbed in the right area. Crisco is an old time favorite if lube is unavailable. Belts as restraints, etc. etc. I could use a good beating right about now, but hope that helps.
